Getting to Us
From sydney airport
If you are travelling from overseas then you will most likely arrive at Sydney International Airport, then you will need to make your way to Byron Bay.
Flight: You may choose to fly from Sydney to Byron Bay. Virgin Australia and Jetstar both offer numerous services a day.
Bus and Coach: Greyhound Australia offer a bus coach service from Sydney to Byron Bay.
Travel tips
We recommend packing layers of all-weather clothing, from singlets to hoodies in Winter and lots of cool clothing for Summer. See HERE for a Wild Kiwi tour packing list.
Please keep in mind luggage is restricted to 20kgs per person. Should you be carrying excess luggage, you will need to arrange storage of this whilst on tour with Wild Kiwi at your own cost.
For your Whitsundays Overnight Cruise, please ensure you bring a zipless tote bag for your belongings.
Breakfast will be provided each day and you are free to bring any snacks on-board the vehicle as you wish. We will also have at least one included dinner during your tour.
Insurance is not included in the price of your tour. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance before your travel with us.
Some nationalities may require a visa to travel in Australia. Visit the official Australian Government Visa website to find out if you need one.
Please make sure to budget extra for activities as they will be your biggest expense whilst travelling. We recommend around $10-$20 for lunch and $20-$40 for dinners. Visa and Mastercard are accepted around Australia and we’ll be able to stop at ATMs.
The sun is strong here, so if you are planning to be out in the sun for more than 15 minutes, slip on a hat and some sunscreen.
